NOV 11th Veterans Day Program at Tidehaven High School 9pm.
DEC 5th Monthly Meeting 7pm Potluck Supper to Follow.
DEC 12th American Legion Christmas party - Happy Hour starts at
6pm and Dinner at 7pm. We will have door prizes and prizes for
the "Ugliest Christmas Sweater" and "The Most Festive!"
Remember to bring a side dish or dessert.
Look out for our first annual Turkey Shoot. We are planning a new
fundraiser for the spring to help raise money for our scholarships.

|The Cecil Lee American Legion Post 649, Blessing, Texas was
chartered on April 24, 1948 and named in honor of Sgt. Cecil L. Lee,
USMC who was killed in action during the invasion of Guam on July
27, 1944. He is buried at the National Memorial Cemetery of the
Pacific, Honolulu, Hawaii. The post is still active in the community.
